The November, Female Student-Athlete of the Month is Lauren Muscat. She was nominated by Coach Carlie Shier. This is what Coach Shier said about Lauren:
"Lauren just finished up her junior season with afew more medals to add to her coat. As a 2024 co-captain, Lauren helped lead her team to a MAC Gold Championship, as well as being named the league MVP. Lauren shined bright this season with the most kills, solo blocks and total blocks on the team. Lauren's drive and commitment in and out of the classroom are truly desirable."

"Landon is a four year member onf the soccer team. He has been the team's goalkeeper for the past two seasons. Landon had a career year with seven shutouts and 250 saves this season. He was also a part of the tennis team and the football team, as a kicker."

The February, male Student-Athlete of the Month is Cameron Milewski. He was nominated by Coach Kennedy. This is what Coach Kennedy said about Cameron:
"Senior, Cameron Milewski, began swimming and diving in the 6th Grade. Cameron has developed into an amazing swimmer and diver. This swim season, Cameron has tied the long standing school record for the 50 Freestyle, qualified for dive Regionals, earned MAC All-Conference, earned state qualifier status in dive, the 50 Freestyle and in the 200 Free Relay. Cameron placed 15th in the MHSAA State Final for dive. Cameron has also earned the Most Valuable Player Award for the Marine City Swim and Dive Team."

"Senior Captain Liam Adams has continued to be a leader through a tough month of match ups. He has stepped up on the defensive end of the court, grabbing rebounds and protecting the paint. He has shot 83% from the free throw line and really pushes his teammates to be their best in practice."

"Abby is a great team leader and an excellent student. She is our fastest swimmer in five of the eventsand second/third fastest in the rest. She is also involved in 4-H abd has a part time job. It is amazing how she is able to keep it all balanced."

"Evan started playing soccer in his sophomore year. His dedication and hard work paid off this year as a starter and a co-captain. Evan always worked hard to better his craft and was open to doing whatever the team needed, to be the best it could be."

"Emma is a four year runner. She has been an integral part of the cross country team this year. Her hard work over the summer has been paying off and she is medaling at many invitationals. She shines in the classroom to maintain impressive grades with a hard class load, that includes three AP classes."

"Jack began playing tennis his sophomore year and he has earned his way to One Doubles while playing tennis at Marine City High School. He is a consistent player and very level headed while still very competitive. Jack also plays Varsity Basketball. He is a well rounded athlete and is also successful academically."

"Lauren has started off great in her sophomore year. She has been a key player for the varsity volleyball team. She currently leads her team with the most kills, highest hitting percentage, and has the second most solo blocks so far. Her aggressiveness on the net, as well as the ability to find open spots on the court, has lead her team to victories thus far."
